Many visitors to Silk Road Collection ask me and our sales staff for suggestions on decorating with Asian and Chinese furniture in their homes and businesses. Some people say they love the look of our furniture but couldn't mix Chinese with their existing style. We understand their hesitation, but offer to them ideas and proof that indeed Asian and Chinese furniture and accessories can make a beautiful statement and harmonize with any setting or style.

For some examples, click on Silk Road Collection's website to "peek" into some of our customers homes. http://www.silkroadcollection.com/aboutyou.html

Also, I've written brief articles about decorating and style. Some specifically deal with Asian furniture. http://www.silkroadcollection.com/home-decorating-ideas-tips.html

I hope this helps and if you have any questions or comments, let me know.

A little more than 48 hours before we leave for China. I will post updates as we travel. Our first days are in Beijing, and then on to Xian and then a Three Gorges river cruise. We've been to Beijing before, but not the other places. Does anyone have any suggestions for us?
